Illustration Introduction of Children Idea Contest

Hello, everyone!
I’m Yu from MURAN 2022 Web promotion team.
The middle of September has passed. It’s still hot, isn’t it?

I am going to introduce “Children Idea Contest,” one of the events of MURAN 2022!
“Children Idea Contest” is an event in which DENSO employees shape visions of future vehicles made by elementary school students.
In this article, we have interviewed children about the six selected drawings of students in the area around DENSO headquarters, and will introduce them with illustrations.

【Team A】Fluffy(Fuwafuwa) Vehicle

Name：Sara Hosomi
Primary School Name：Fujimatsu Kita

Ｑ．Why did you come up with this idea?
Ａ．I thought if we had a vehicle made of fluffy clouds, we could eliminate the sad news of traffic accidents.

Ｑ．Do you have any requests for the shape?
Ａ．For the future, I want them to be created with a world view that is friendly to both people and the environment.

【Team B】Rainbow Bubble Car

Name：Haruki Takayama
Primary School Name：Kinuura

Ｑ．What  is the concept of your car?
Ａ．I drew a car which is fueled by trash, glows in a rainbow and make the soil and air cleaner.

Ｑ．Why did you come up with this idea?
Ａ．There was an eco-challenge in class, and I just wanted to make an eco-friendly ride.

【Team C】Eco and People-Friendly Vehicle

Name：Maho Ishikawa
Primary School Name：Higashi Kariya

Ｑ．What concept did you draw with?
Ａ．It is a vehicle which runs on solar-powered fans, and also install magnets to prevent collisions with a repulsive force.

Ｑ．Can you tell me what points you worked hard on when painting?
Ａ．I’m particular about being powered by environmentally friendly wind power, so I want a vehicle that can fly.

【Team D】Foldable EV

Name：Yume Myodo
Primary School Name：Odakahara

Ｑ．What concept did you draw with?
Ａ．Trains and buses are powered by energy generated by people playing sports, playing and training at home.

Ｑ．Why did you come up with this idea?
Ａ．It would become an eco-world if the energy created by human movement could move the vehicle through the antenna.

【Team E】A Society Where People Generate Electricity

Name：Sana Sumiya
Primary School Name：Kijo

Ｑ．What concept did you draw with?
Ａ．Trains and buses are powered by energy generated by people playing sports, playing and training at home.

Ｑ．Why did you come up with this idea?
Ａ．It would become an eco-world if the energy created by human movement could move the vehicle through the antenna.

【Team F】Swing Vehicle

Name：Honami Okada
Primary School Name：Karigane

Ｑ．What concept did you draw with?
Ａ．An eco-friendly ride powered by swings and solar panels.

Ｑ．Can you tell me what points you worked hard on when painting?
Ａ．The shape of the seats was carefully drawn so that pets and luggage could ride together.

Did the children’s feelings in the painting get through?
It’s exciting to think that these pictures will actually come into shape!
You can expect to see the finished product until the day of MURAN 2022 (November 26, 27th), but we are planning to introduce the production process on our website, so stay tuned.
